On January 26-27, Benny Hinn Ministries will be holding the much-anticipated Dominican Republic Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade in Santo Domingo’s Estadio Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte. Time for each service is 7 p.m.

Located in the Caribbean, between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean on the eastern two-thirds of La Isla Española (Haiti occupies the western one-third of the island), the Dominican Republic was explored and claimed by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage in 1492. In fact, when the adventurer sighted its coral-edged Caribbean coastline on his first voyage to the New World, he reportedly pronounced: "There is no more beautiful island in the world."

Millions since then have agreed enthusiastically, and from that point, the island of Hispaniola has been a springboard for discovery throughout the Caribbean and the American mainland, as well as a spectacular destination for sugar-white beaches and rich natural beauty.

Today over 9 million people live in the Dominican Republic, and there is an increasing openness to the preaching of the Word throughout this region of the world. Never before have so many opportunities existed for the Gospel throughout the Caribbean islands.

Multitudes are hungry for the life-saving and miracle-working message of Jesus Christ.
